
Charles Klor Garden is placed on the south sea beach of Tel-Aviv, in a place where the sea was dried. The garden was established in 1973, and it's undergoing over 1500 meters. Charles Klor Garden is placed near the old Marine world of Tel-Aviv (Dolphinarium), and near Dan Hotel, and it was joined to The Promenade of Tel-Aviv.
Before the War of Independence of Israel, this place was a part of an Arabic neighborhood that was belong to Jaffa. In the War of Independence there were shootings from this neighborhood to Tel-Aviv city, and that is why the IZL (in Hebrew – "Irgun Zva'I Leumi"), witch was the Israeli military at that time, decided to conquer the neighborhood. In the south part of the garden you can find The IZL Museum, where you can find stories and pictures of the war.
Sometimes events are taking place in this garden. In the Garden you can also find many grassy areas and sculptures.
